A Haunting We Will Go (Making a Scene for Macabre Monday)

This week at Haunted Design House we're "making a scene" with the help of some fabulous images from this week's sponsor, Make it Crafty. Here's an opportunity to do some serious coloring! Mine was with Copics, of course. I had a ball making a shadow box card using the Haunted Halloween House as the back drop. The window frames were cut with my Nesties Grand Labels One.

Looking on is the adorable Mini Frankenstein. He's available on his own, or part of the MonztaBoyz collection. Trust me, you'll want them ALL! He was a bit of a challenge to fussy cut, but I managed with my trusty Exacto knife.

The little diva is Mini Morticia. And yup, she's got some gal pals too in the MonztaGalz collection. Don't they make a cute couple?

I've completed the scene by using a variety of MS punches including Spooky Fence, Spider Web, Graveyard and Drippy Goo, and popped them from the window frames for added depth. I've used Alpha Beads to spell out my title and some music note brads so you can all be singing this little song all day. HeeHee! If you'd love to sin some Make It Crafty images of your own, bop by Haunted Design House and grab some additional mojo from the Minions and come on and play along. I'm also entering this in the Corrosive Challenge Blog Punches and Dies challengeand the Paper Sundaes Anything Goes challenge

Mix 'n Match Victorian Steampunk Release with Make it Crafty and Tiddly Inks

It's finally here, the day we've been waiting for. The collaborative Victorian Steampunk release from Tiddly Inks and Make it Crafty is a reality and wait 'til you see all of the fab new images. For my card I've used Steampunk Flying Machine from Make it Crafty and the adorable Tanker Fairy from Tiddly Inks. I've colored the flying machine with metallic gel pens and Copics and cut it out as if it's in a cloud and popped it on a mat embossed with the Cuttlebug Gears folder.

Tanker Fairy is colored with Copics and fussy cut and popped on the wing. Could she be any cuter?

I've added some metal gears from Tim Holtz and tiny tag Nostalgique stickers by Rebecca Sower for Sticko. They're popped and I've added adhesive beads. Inspiration abounds on the Landing Page HERE where you can view more samples and find out how to play our fun game of I Spy. There's even a coupon code for 15% off the new release stamps for 1 week only! Woo Hoo! See ya there! I'm also entering this in the Gears, Cogs and Watch Bits Challenge at Gingersnaps Creations.

Blog Hop Winner and Tons of Announcements

TGIF, everyone! I dare say I wish it were still earlier in the week as I've still got tons of things to do to get ready for the 4th. However, it's a very exciting day for me because I've been PUBLISHED in the July issue of GingerScrapStreet Digital Magazine. Click HERE for the Table of Contents and HERE for the Alice in Wonderland Article. WooHoo! Thank you so much Jess for including me in this fab publication. I'm honored to be featured among such fabulously talented designers.

And BTW, Jess has a little incentive to view the article. She has a little game going for some fab Blog Candy so Click HERE to see what that's all about.

Just so happens that most of the images from my published card came from The Octopode Factory. It is also the day that The Octopode Factory Friday challenges begin and you KNOW I'm excited about that! I can't wait to participate in the challenges. You needn't use Octopode images to join the challenges but you do need to use them to WIN so I'm sure you want to shop HERE.

Then, on July 14th there will be a fabulous joint venture between Tiddly Inks and Make it Crafty. Read all about this exciting collaboration HERE! Just wait 'til you see the gorgeous new mix and match stamps from both stores.

Now I'm hopin' you guys didn't just skip to this part 'cause there was lots of cool info about upcoming events (as well as a little horn tooting of my own, but) FINALLY, the winner of the BBTB2 Blog Hop prize, a $40 gift certificate from CUSTOM CROPS is......
