MY PINK STAMPER DESIGN TEAM MONTHLY PROJECT

i told you i would be back today. i have been cleaning the house and working some on the yard before it gets too bad. the weather is supposed to be rainy for the whole week and i won't be able to go out. the house can wait a day or two. it is always so much to do :(
-----
i love being one of robyn's designers and get to play with her stamps and i wish i had more time to work with them. i thought when my son left i was going to have that extra time but sadly, that hasn't been the case. i did have time to make some stops on some blogs and that is a YAY! it shows some progress, lol.

I did have so much fun working on my project for today. we were asked to use the Spook-a-licious stamp set and you know that is one of my favorites right now.

 Have the Scariest Halloween Ever
4.75" x 5.75"
i named him mr.noir!
the most beautiful cat's face ever, is in the autumn celebrations cartridge.

and here is the beautiful sentiment from the spook-a-licious set from my pink stamper, and the spiders are from the same set. i love those spiders, they are awesome looking!

for the sentiment, i bent the stamp a bit on my acrylic block until i had it the way i wanted it.
(psss!....you can click on the pics for a bigger view)

 look at those teeth...GRRRRR!

the card base is from ashlyn's alphabet and is image #40 on the overlay. i cut it twice on double sided pattern paper.

did you noticed i inked the teeth a bit, for a more realistic look.
the rhinestones are giving him purple eyes.
awesome purple eyes, that is! a bit of stickles here and there and done.

when you go to my pink stamper site, you will see you need to use black, green, purple and orange in your project. you will find these colors in the designers projects as well.

now, you can click on anywhere i wrote my pink stamper, spook-a-licious or you can click HERE to go to my pink stamper site and see what the rest of her fab team has to share and to participate in this other awesome challenge.

can't wait to see what you come up with!

now, go ahead and have some fun!

BEWARE--- A BITTEN BY THE BUG 2 CHALLENGE

 hello
i hope you all had a great weekend.

this week at the Bitten by the Bug 2 we have a sponsor:
The Stamping Boutique
click here for the link if you want to check them out.

i tried my best with this project and my apologies to those who have mastered the art which i just mutilated with my inexpertise.

Beware
4x6"
(photo heavy)
:(
this was my first try but i decided to add some grass or something
below the fence.

i used a MS punch and border to add these details.

much better here right? :)

i then added a frame, but the wrong one. :( for this challenge i had to use a frame from "happy hauntings", ooops! --sorry heather.

and the beware sentiment is from My Pink Stamper latest release
"spook-alicious".

here is my scarecrow in all its glory, :)

now, if i tried, you can too.
go ahead and participate in the challenge.
you can see now you do not have to be a pro. just have to be brave and try something new. and then publish it for the wide world to see, hehe

notes... i do not own any fancy markers and all i had was a crayola watercolors set and that is what i used to color this image. i also used watercolor paper i had in my stash.

click on this logo above and it will take you to the site so you can participate in the challenge and have fun with us too.
and...if you leave me a link to your project i will then select one for a little surprise from me to you.

thanks for stopping by.

love you all!

MY PINK STAMPER PINK-A-LICIOUS BLOG HOP

welcome to the hut...the scraphut that is:
i am flowerdisco and i hope i make your stop here worth it.

this hop is to showcase the new clear stamps releases from
aka Robyn aka MPS
and Robyn's challenge for this hop is
"Getting to know to our designers: Show your Style".

anyhow, this is my third term as one of My Pink Stamper designers and i am so very pleased with her and all her products.
in addition
Robyn (My Pink Stamper)
and
Maria(our team leader, from Believe Dream Create with Maria)
are such a delight to work with, and such a good friendship and bond has developed among us all us (designers included). ;p

at the end of the hop you MUST go back to My Pink Stamper and see what else she has in store for you.

NOW i have to warn you: i really do not know what my style is (eclectic, perhaps?) but, i do know i really like to have fun when working on my projects and sometimes i delight on details and sometimes love to be very picky and fuzzy ;p... i do love color and do like distressing....making things look older. then, other days, i like to work on clean and simple projects. i do not scrapbook much but love making cards and working on different paper crafting projects. my project for today is an example of the later,
and in certain way it also reflects some of my style.
i really-really fell in love with this halloween stamp set. it is from this new release.
My Pink Stamper called it:
Spook-alicious
i used it on my project along with the Font-abulous one---which is another new release---you gotta love this font---so cute!!!

this is my project for the challenge

****WICKED****
door hanger/wall art
11.25" by 7"
(photo heavy post)
(i stamped each letter on white cardstock using orange ink and cut each letter by hand).the title frame/mat was cut three times on gray and one time on black for thickness.

the spiders are from "spook-alicious".
some were stickled (glitter gun) and others were glittered with a marker.

the frame/mat for the title and and the spooky tree from the happy hauntings cricut cart.

the "treats" word is also from "spook-alicious".
the purple with the tombs, the ghost and a little frog on the left (not shown on this pic) are from my supplies.

the custom parade is from my latest acquisition
"Autumn Celebrations".
this cricut cart is another must have.
i am very pleased with all the variety of images that we celebrate in the fall.

well, this project showed you the kind of what i do best with my "style":
I try my best to have fun.
i hope you enjoy it as much as i did making it.
and
thanks so very much for stopping by and joining us on this
it sure does make our days sunnier

DON'T EAT THESE!

HELLO

this is my second project for the
Design Team

this week we had to work with the
Paper Dolls Dress Up- and use the pie from page #63,
using shift lock and accessories 2.

Do you know how many cute images and what a variety of items you can find in this cartridge? it is amazing.

i had also received some new stamps from My Pink Stamper and one of them was
from her latest release, and since i totally fell in love with all the sentiments i rapidly developed the urge/itch to use one for this pie. :P

Don't Eat These!
3.5" high
aren't they cute? the cutest ever if you ask me :) and you can find the spider stamp on the same "spook-alicious" set. those adorable spiders were coated with gunmetal stickles.

here you can see the "don't eat these! stamp sentiment. i think is super cute and together with the spider one i thought it would be a "killer" for the BBTB2 challenge---hehe

to hold the warning sign i used two bronze brads and,
a bit of diamond dust for a nice toxic sugar coating-hee hee!

the patterned papers are so old i will let you recognize them.

if you are up to a fun challenge, please stop at
and play along with us.
(click on their logo to go to take a peak)
my team mates went "out and about" on this challenge and i believe their pies are not as poisonous as mine--hee-hee!

love u all!

Daily Life: i can't believe is almost school time to remind us autumn is just around the corner with all its fabulous colors and harvesting. i won't be harvesting but "seeding" my son in Boston at the end of the month--:(
BUT, on the sunny side of this matter, we found an awesome scrapbooking store in Conn. when coming back the last time. it is called "papercraftclubhouse" and it is the most supplied store i have seen so far, carrying almost every brand out there and lots of charity work going on. here is the info in case you want to sign-up for the newsletter or to take a trip to see it. be prepared because you will spend some green, lol. hopefully, my dear hubby takes me this time...you know...to take some of the sadness away ;p.
