MY PINK STAMPER PINK-A-LICIOUS BLOG HOP

hello and welcome to my blog!
my name is Agnes and as you already know i am a my pink stamper designer. i enjoy my paper crafts, gardening and sewing and i am so proud to be a designer in this team.

this is my project to share with you today.
the requirements are to use a stamp from the "Yummylicious or Sweet Goodness" stamps set and make a treat/goodie bag for any holiday or any theme.

Sweet Goodness
4" x 5"
matchbox
this is a beauty of a goodie box.

my sweet goodness stamp is from the Yummylicious set from no other than my pink stamper, of course ;D this is her hop and i am a proud designer of hers...as i mentioned before. i do not own the "sweet goodness set" but you will find the sweet goodness phrase on both sets:
just different fonts.

you might be able to tell or not...that this is a matchbox from tags, bags, boxes and more. :P
 i cut it at 5"
above you see the top cover..
the jar is from doodlecharms and i cut it on cardstock and vellum. the vellum is the one on top.
the fruits are from the preserves cart and were wet embossed .
the tag is from home accents and the sentiment you already know is from the yummylicious stamp set from my pink stamper. the blue ribbon is a dyed bias tape i received as a rak.
this matchbox turned out to be a perfect goodie box.
and you will find many awesome stamps to match any of your paper projects in my pink stamper stamps. i invite you to click ----HERE----  and see it for yourself. you will also will find the online retailers who carry her stamps.

remember at the end of the hop going back to my pink stamper website and participate in the challenge.

NOTE: i have a goodie for you too but you must participate in the challenge for me to enter your name in it. one person will win it and that person will have three days after i announce the winner on oct 18 to claim the candy.

because i know you do not want to miss any of the stops.....
thanks so much for the stop,
and have fun with the hop.

BITTEN BY THE BUG 2 BLOG HOP

WELCOME
to my little scraphut and welcome to our monthly

our challenge this week is the wheelbarrow from the Walk in my Garden cartridge.
You will find this image on page #107 and it is image #26 on the overlay.

Hello
5"x5"
square card
here is my cute wheelbarrow. i never used this cut and/or feature before. the feature is the "card" one but all you get is the front of the card. at least, that is what i got.  i made a base for it.

i hid the flowers centers with the gypsy hide contour because being so small i was just going to rip the thin paper i used. i added the tiny rhinestones instead. i can still tell they are flowers, :).
i messed up at the end while stamping hello. i decided to use embossing powder to hide it but, i couldn't set the powder right. you see? i already had the transparency attached on the window. it was warping on me...:(
as you can see i was not having a good day, lol
btw, the hello stamp is from my pink stamper and you can purchase the whole set HERE.
it is called spectacular sayings.
i got myself a pair of martha stewart fringe scissors ;Dand i used them today for first time. i made the grass where the little punched birdie stands still. loved using this scissors.

this tree is from hoot n' holler, image #11 on the overlay. i cut this tree at three inches but it comes out a bit taller because of the branches. the pretty butterflies are from another paper punch. i like to have paper punches with small images because they are easier than trying to cut them w/the cricut sometimes and, i can use tiny scraps of paper too. :D
if you take a closer look to the tree trunk you will see i stamped for a more realistic look.

and you can see i curled the leaves too.

this is my base for the front card. it is another 5"x5"piece of white cardstock which i scored at 1/2 inch and glued it to the front.

this is how it looks when opened. the back is the one that bends, not the front.

here is the completed card.
i want  to mention that the transparency used on the window is actually a clear plastic from the dollar stamps package ;p.

hope you like my card...this one is a first for me as i mentioned before.

i have a small giveaway and i will use random.org to choose for me.
you will have three days to claim your prize.
***the small print says you must participate in this BBTB challenge to be able to add your name for my giveaway.

now, it is time to keep hoping and i am listing the entire hop list in case you are a bit lost. you can start wherever you want but you might want to stop at all the blogs. :)

CHRISTMAS IN JULY DAY THREE

this is my wall art project for the home decor part of the
CHRISTMAS IN JULY EVENT

(i am aware of the photos not showing up yesterday at the hostess blog
thanks for letting me know. i contacted gisella and she will take care of it asap).

this project is not an original idea of mine but similar
to something i saw on the web and twisted it a bit to make it my own.
--here we go--

........Wishing You........
Happy Holidays
......................................................

size: 7" x 8.5"

pretty, huh?

i used my cricut for all the cuts since my paper trimmer tends to disappoint me--- :(

(remember to click on the pics for zooming in)

i chose a green pattern paper for the background and glued to the base of a thick chipboard.

the first yellow strip is 7" x 1.5".
the holly paper is 7" x 7.75"

the mat for the title was cut at 3.8" x 1.3" using ashlyn's alphabet for this shape. it is image#27 using the icon creative feature.

all the rectangles strips are 3" x .75".
the green strip to the right measures 2" x 7" with its mat.

the holly border and red snowflake are from K&CO and so are the rest of the chipboard embellishments, except the star brad.

this cute pocket holding the candy canes is from tags, bags, boxes and more
(image# 48)

a few more pics of the overall project below.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY-----MPS FIRST DESIGN TEAM PROJECT

hello my friends...i went today for my blood work to rule out some conditions. i will keep you up to date but i am feeling much better as of today. i know that won't last long so i live everyday to the fullest ;p.

today is tuesday, january 25 and normally on tuesdays i post the challenge for the cuttlebug spot but today i am making an exception to post my first project as one of my pink stamper 2011 designers. robyn  asked that our first project should be inspired by LOVE and we should use PINK somewhere. easy!

Happy Valentine's Day
6.5 x 4
the beautiful heart paper is from one of the new dcwv stacks.

the hearts were cut from a foil cardstock and one of them embossed, as you can see, with the swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. i fell in love with this foil cardstock from a few xmas cards i received.

hehe, you can see the reflection of my camera lense here, oops!

look how pretty the wet embossing turned out, love it.
the sentiment is from one of my pink stamper latest clear stamp sets. you already saw it because i have been using it a lot lately ;p--- it is this one below..called
HAPPIEST MOMENTS
(you can click on the name and it will take you to robyn's site where you can see a variety of her products..i personally love her stamps).

for the inside of the card, i decided to use another brown border using the same brown american crafts textured cardstock i used on the outside.
hope you like it as much as i do. i am giving it to my hubby for valentine's day :)

please, if you have time, stop at robyn's site. you will be able to take a look at the rest of the fantastic projects the other designers have made for today.
also, robyn--my pink stamper--has a challenge going on right now celebrating her birthday. go ahead, click anywhere you see her name here and it will take you to her site...don't be shy, participate and you might win one of two cricut carts she is having as giveaways.

this is it for now...
love you all--!!
*-*

tomorrow i will have the project i made for the cuttlebug spot and another opportunity for another of nilda's giveaway if you participate on that challenge too--wink-wink.

ADORABLE

ooops--i forgot to send this to nildas at the cuttlebug spot--so you will not find it there :(
i also had it scheduled and did not upload--another boo for google--grrr!!
i also have to correct the mps blog hops won't be every friday but monthly on a friday
this friday will be our first hop--more info to come ;p

-----

today is time for embossing with
we are supposed to be inspired by a song and as bad as it seems i really did not get the inspiration but i know of a lot of love songs and since heart day is very near, this is what i made for you.

but before i go into that, i want to apologize for the lack of consistency with my blog background as i try to find a suitable clean looking background without loosing my style, lol.
i liked the green one i had prior to this one,  but it was hard on my eyes and i can't even imagine if you had to struggle too to read it, lol...so very sorry. i still working on it.
last night i made a new blog button you will find on the left column if you wish to grab the new one. little by little i will find something that suits my mood and easy for you to read and enjoy.

now onto to my
Adorable Card
4" square
the card base is black and the white has been embossed with the hearts cuttlebug folder.

another mess-up here with the black embossing powder
(i will change that but i will do it later--i had to upload for the cuttlebug spot)
the stamp is from my mps winter punnies clear stamp set and i cut one of the stamps in half to use the Adorable word only (i know--it was a really tough decision, lol)

on the hearts i used more embossing powder in silver and gold and
that texture comes from this wood mounted stamp i got at hobby lobby called distressed background--hehe, what an original name that is ;p
used versamark for the stamping.
and of course you already know this is the inside. i am liking stamping the inside with a border or an image.
do not forget you can participate in nilda's challenge. nilda has some prizes for the chosen winner.
you can click here to go to

i almost forgot to tell you about my crinkle ribbon.;p
i used organza and my heat gun--hehe--pretty easy. i bought the ribbon in white in case i need to ink it to change the color. nice tip!! ;p
thank you agnes...now i can make my own, lol.

take care and i love you all.
