WILD CARD WITH LISA/FATHER

It has been raining in this part of the world and even
I tried my best to get good photos they are not the best.

Well, welcome back to another week of Wild Card Cards.

Today we have the Father's Card
#35 in our series and you can find this one on page #66 of the cartridge handbook.
I made this one when I first got the cartridge for my husband on father's day but I wasn't too pleased with it but then I was just a beginner-beginner. I am no pro but I have learned a bit here and there and lots more to experiment, lol.
This one is a new card I just made yesterday.

My Father's Card
4.75 inches
The base of the card is made using Kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby and the patterned paper is another
oldie from DCWV stack. The stamp is from My Pink Stampers Sweet Occasions Set.
As you can see I used the same patterned paper to cut the cattails and grass from the same Father's car but I also used  a Martha Stewart punch for the green grass.
I also used stickles on the grass and I inked most of the card front.
I popped the fish for more dimension and added the twine glueing it with Scotch's adhesive. It worked well with the twine. I was going to add a real twig to use as a fishing pole but everything was wet and it wasn't gluing down :( ...............I might add it another day tough.
Here is a better close-up. I did not glue the cattails/grass all the way down so I could have the effect of real grass as you can see better on this photo.
This is the inside and I also added stickles to the fish and just to the Father's word.
This the back of the envelope and I used construction paper again.
I took many photos trying to compensate for the lack of good light.

Lisa's Father' Card
We both used the fish as a mere coincidence.
