Invader 1000 | Paris

Champfest recently visited Paris and what a trip... Paris is full of things to do, and we see something new each time we go.

A few Parisians are to be featured in Issue 004, so keep your eyes out for those...

In the meantime, if you missed the Space Invader exhibition - titled Invader 1000 - here are some photos for you to feast your eyes on... the Frenchie has come quite a long way! Well done, we say...

The exhibition is held at La Generale Gallery and on until July 2nd.

Map to each city he has hit. Rome, NYC and Paris ofcourse, among others.... Quite organized!

 

I had never seen this before . Space Invader creates large-sale portraits out of rubix-cubes. The colours arent switched, the actualy rubix cubes have been turned to create the image.

 

The show was quite a success . There was even a line-up to get to the First Level to see the main display. No-one ever thinks to avoid the line-up and enter through the exit...

 The building the exhibition was held in, was something to see in itself. The buildings in Paris are amazing, some delightfully huge, as this warehouse was.
