NSW 1948
Destroy to Create

Last weekend saw the re-opening of the 1948 Store, just off Batemans Row - in celebration of the NSW Destroyer Jacket set to be released.
Nike know how to throw a party.
They got some new and creative people involved - such as British jewellery-designer Duffy, the guys at Frith St Tattoo, Harry Malt and Tim Barber, design studio I Heart Pop and DMC World Team Champions DJ Kireek.
UK hardcore band, Gallows, performed while Super Heavyweight Champion Kina Malpartida and Lissett Medl entertained everyone with a good match.
Duffy carved a skull from professional cyclist Mark Cavendish's bicycle parts - whilst his carbon frame and forks were left for display.  They even flew out Wonka and Kai from the States which was cool. Kai was reppin the new Destroyer jacket - which you can also customise with different patches  (so far only available in the States).
Duo DJ Kireek were definitely the highlight of the night for me. Brilliant.
